Home Owner’s: If you own your home you are eligible for a discounted rate on your auto insurance.


Bundling:  By having more than one policy with Farmers, such as home and auto, you can receive a discount.


Multi-car: Cover more than one vehicle under the same Farmers auto policy to qualify for this additional premium discount.


Safety Equiptment: For cars with standard safety equipment, like anti-lock brakes and restraint systems.


Anti-theft: If you have an alarm system or similar anti-theft or vehicle recovery device installed in your vehicle, then you may be eligible for an additional rate discount.

Passive Restraint: If your vehicle has factory-installed safety features like automatic seatbelts and airbags, Farmers discounts your premium.

Good Student: Good students are typically less risky, so Farmers discounts their coverage (for a 12-month period) if they meet one of the following academic standards:
  • Maintain a “B” average or better
  • Maintain a 3.0 (out of 4.0) grade point average or higher
  • Make Dean’s List or Honor Roll
  • Rank in the top 20% of their class, or on recognized standardized tests
Transfer: Switch your car insurance from certain standard carriers to Farmers with no lapse in coverage to get a rate discount.

1 out of 4 car accidents are caused by texting and driving   Before the smartphone, drunk driving accidents were the leading cause of death among teenagers and young adults. In recent years, an average of 2,700 teenagers were killed as a result of drunk driving. What is more scary is that in recent years, over 3,000 teenagers and young adults die each year from distracted driving.
