So Farmers Insurance is sort of known for covering bizarre situations. We put said situations in "The Hall of Claims". I have shared a lot of incidents on my social media accounts but now I will rank the top 10 claims Farmers has ever covered. 10) Hot Dog A Farmer's customer left their left-over pizza sitting on the stove when only the dog was home. The pizza-loving pup jumped up and grabbed the slice. In the process, the dog turned the stove on, setting the house on fire. In recent years, an average of 2,700 teenagers were killed as a result of drunk driving. What is more scary is that in recent years, over 3,000 teenagers and young adults die each year from distracted driving. That is roughly eight people every day. It isn’t just teenagers who are the ones texting. According to a survey conducted by AT&T, 49% of American adult drivers admitted they text and drive and 90% of those admit it’s dangerous.
